is seeking a talented Insurance Enrollment Navigator to step into our culturally diverse and fast-paced facility!
Summary:
The Insurance Enrollment Navigator is responsible for outreach, education and enrollment for currently uninsured, underserved and hard-to-reach-patient populations and to inform them and assist with the enrollment process through the ACA.
POSITION DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
The Insurance Enrollment Navigator will provide outreach and education will include information regarding the ACA as it relates to the Marketplace.
Responsible for End-to-end Assistance- Help with completing the application and understanding eligibility rules, selecting a QHP and understanding how to compare plans, enrolling in the QHP and understanding the need to pay premiums, and resolving any remaining issues such as needing providing documentation to maintain eligibility or any enrollment issues with the health insurance companies.
Provide access to locations or mobile computing centers that will facilitate access to the Get Covered New Jersey web portal, or the Marketplace call center, or provide the ability to print and mail hard copies of application and enrollment documents to the Marketplace Answers to eligibility and enrollment questions- Address questions regarding access to any of the methods to apply for and enroll in coverage and how to submit documentation needed to complete the eligibility application and finalize enrollment Group Outreach- Outreach to consumers typically in group settings, focusing on broad topics related to health insurance and coverage options, including through partnerships with other community-based organizations and/or community groups, and community leaders Contact patients and/or specialist as needed for missing reports.
Update demographics pertaining to address and telephone number as needed.
Provide patients with existing copies of lost or misplaced orders upon request.
Assist with compliance projects upon request.
Routinely review provider patient panels supplied by the various insurance plans to identify patients who have not presented for services.
Assist patients and families in navigating the complex healthcare system.
Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings.
Other duties as assigned or as needed to support organizational goals Experience and Skills Medical terminology required.
Education:
Requirement met by License/Certification Requirement
Experience:
Two (2) years of directly related work experience in healthcare Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent Interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Systems.
Ability to apply solution based thinking and solve difficult problems with creative solutions.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle high volume and a fast pace.
Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
