Practical Nurse, MAT Program Part-Time (Correctional Facility)
DESCRIPTION:
Under direction of a Registered Professional Nurse in the Correctional Facility, performs the duties required to care for clients; carries out medical orders prescribed by a licensed physician that require an understanding of elementary nursing, but not the professional service outlined in the definition of professional nursing; does related work as required.
Assist medical unit with the coordination and distribution of medication for the MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) Program.
Must be able to climb stairs and lift up to 20lbs.
LICENSE:
Applicants must possess a valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New Jersey.
Persons who possess the registration by waiver must have satisfactorily completed an approved refresher program.
RATE:
$24.
88 per hour (higher starting salary commensurate upon experience) SCHEDULE:
Rotating 7 days a week, 7:
00 am - 11:
00 am.
Additional hours may be offered on a per diem basis.
EEOC This position is grant funded and employment will only be renewed based upon grant award notification.
This title is classified and non-competitive through Civil Service Must be a resident of New Jersey.
Preference given to Salem County Residents Recommended Skills Licensed Practical Nurse Nursing Professional Services Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
